The Sisters Behind the Blog

Sisters and friends. United by a love of food (among other things!). We cook with a mixture of strictly-followed recipes and random experiments, American food and international, standard ingredients and unusual substitutes. Many of our recipes are GAPS-diet compliant, gluten-free, grain-free, etc.

Susan resides in CT with her husband and 2 littles. She can often be found in the kitchen with a baby strapped on her back and a preschooler splashing water in the sink. Currently on the GAPS diet, she loves to make the most of it and have fun with dietary restrictions! She is learning that squash and coconut are two of the most versatile foods known to man.

Hannah teaches French in GA, and is exploring the opportunity of doing linguistic missions overseas. In her area she has the opportunity to mix with international refugees, from whence she pulls some of her international culinary interests. She believes that any food dish can be enhanced by either peanuts or tomatoes.
